Pampered Passions Gets a Makeover

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Lingerie retailer Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie unveiled an overhauled website this week, revealing an easier user interface, interactive features, free personal shopper service, and more.

The site's founder, Alicia Vargo, wanted the site's aesthetic to match the lingerie it sells. "We have found many of our competitors' websites to be plain and boring," says Vargo. "We have always attempted to convey a sense of beauty and distinction with our website design to match the distinctive lingerie selection we offer."

Its selection is a hand-picked crop of innovative brands from around the world, like the Lola Luna label, which was little-known stateside until Vargo imported it.

Pampered Passions has also brought brands from the internet to the real world, plying the celebrities who visited the 2008 MTV Movie Awards Style Lounge with delicates from the likes of Cosabella, Hanky Panky, PJ Salvage, Gracya, Axami, and Sawren. The site also stocks sexy styles from Shirley of Hollywood, Leg Avenue, and Allure Leather.

With all this variety, how can shoppers choose what will work best for them? Vargo has launched "Ask Alicia," a web-based feature that allows users to submit their personal requests to Vargo, who will then dole out her expertise. The new Lingerie of the Month club makes shopping just as simple, letting users select a monthly price point to spend on silky surprises for that special someone. Customers can also take advantage of a gift registry, a wish list, and the chance to view past orders online.Vargo has also created a blog to discuss issues impacting women and the lingerie industry.

"Pampered Passions has always strived to offer among the most diverse selection of lingerie," says Vargo. "We offer customers a positive experience like no other online store."
