PHOENIX - Adult novelty designer PHS International has teamed up with Canadian adult retail company Vanderex to debut the PLAY! line in all Kama Sutra boutiques in Quebec.
The PLAY! line includes vibes, cock rings, blinds, crops, whips, clamps, and restraints designed in a sophisticated red-and-black palate with packaging made to be tasteful, approachable, and respectful of suburban couples, said Michael Merrill, sales and marketing manager of PHS.
"Working with Vanderex is a privilege," he said. "Our target audience from conception was exactly what Vanderex owns. To land this deal validates our goal: to deliver quality, fully branded product tastefully packaged for the everyday couple."
Vanderex CEO Annie Cabana said she chose to partner with PHS because of the company's clear vision and stellar reputation.

Merrill said PHS's business in the Canadian market has been exploding recently, with its PLAY! line available throughout the provinces. He attributed the surge to Canadian consumers' positive attitudes toward sex.
"The Canadian consumer sees toys as relationship enhancers and not nasty taboo fetish items," he said. "The U.S. is on its way there, but Canada seems to be a little ahead of the curve."
