Ogilvy RedCard Bags It for Durex

SINGAPORE - Ogilvy RedCard, a media marketing company based out of Singapore, is at it again as a creative team patrolled the streets of the island country with paper bags over their heads spreading the message "Buying adult toys doesn't have to be embarrassing" in hopes of garnering visitors to manufacturer Durex's website.

"It was a simple demonstration of the anonymity that buying adult toys online offers," said Paul Anderson of Ogilvy RedCard. "We showed people that they can buy any toy they like, without having to show their faces to the world in the process."

According to a Durex survey, Singaporeans have the most interest in vibrating sex toys, and the paper bag drew much attention and interest from pedestrians last week.

The marketing company, which through neutral-media approach communications is able to "work in between the disciplines in a media-up not creative-down way," is following up its March launch of online pinball game PleasureBall for Durex with this promotion.
