LIVERPOOL, England - Retailer Nice ‘n' Naughty treated employee Richard Allmark to a test drive in 170-mph Ferrari as a reward for being the "driving force" of the company.
For his hard work and dedication, Allmark enjoyed a daylong racing experience at a private track in Warwickshire, where he test-drove a Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche.
"It was absolutely fantastic [and] something I had never done before," he told AVN Novelty Business. "I reached speeds over 160 mph. I have a really nice company car, but nothing on the scale of the super-charged motoring icons."
The session was organized by company Director Simon Prescott, who told ANB that Allmark has been one of the most influential members of his award-winning companies.
"I'd be lost without Richard, and I wanted to reward him for his loyalty and exceptional dedication," Prescott said. "I would love to buy him a super-car, but at the moment, that's just not possible, so the track day was the next best thing. One day, I genuinely hope to get him the real thing."
The company said Allmark rose through the ranks to become the national retail manager of Britain's fastest-growing licensed retail chain, which has 11 stores in north Wales, northern England and the Midlands, as well as a flourishing wholesale division.
Allmark, who has worked for the adult retail chain for more than five years, said his job is the best job in the world.
"We are such a close-knit and very friendly team," he added. "Everybody feels really valued, much more than just a number on the payroll."
