Musotica Launches Crochet Beachwear Line

LOS ANGELES—Musotica Inc., the designer fashion company headed by celebrity stylist Sarah Wallner, has introduced its first beachwear line for women, featuring sexy, fashionable, crocheted bathing suits, bikinis and beachwear in unique patterns.

The looks range from ultra-revealing and curve-defining to fishnet-style swimsuits and from body-covering dresses to extremely intricate crocheted details. All swimwear is available lined or unlined, and is made from 100 percent stretch cotton. Musotica pieces, which are created in the U.S., are available wholesale.

“I want to give women the opportunity to purchase high-quality crochet swimwear for less,” said Wallner. “I couldn’t find any that were to my satisfaction, so I created my own.”

Already the line has been spotted on several celebrities. Recently Paris Hilton was photographed in a black crochet made by Musotica during her Hawaiian vacation, and internet sensation and MTV host Tila Tequila wore pieces in the 2009 season of her show A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila. Shauna Sand has also been recently photographed wearing items from the line.

Each of the pieces are available in black, white, off-white, mustard yellow, yellow, coral, gold, brown, baby blue, navy blue, green, baby pink, red, turquoise, and purple. Each of the swimsuits has adjustable uplifting neck and side ties with a low-rise back and Brazilian bottom.
