FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - MD Science Lab, a manufacturer of herbal supplements, lotions, creams and lubricants, has received approval for registering the trademark for its Swiss Navy lubricant line.
Company President Ralph Albrecht said it was a long process involving worldwide registration.
"I am finally glad to end all of the competitive rumors about the trademark with this announcement," he said. "The line of Swiss Navy products has been very well received worldwide. I believe, at last count, we have products available in 43 countries."
Ruth Chatfield, vice president of sales and marketing, said the trademark approval is an important step in the company's long-term plan to expand globally.
"In May, we will be releasing more products designed specifically for the European market and Latin America," she said. "Next week, at the International Lingerie Show, we will have new products designed for the U.S. market, including packets of the popular MaxLoad and Ultimate Spanish Fly."
Chatfield said samples of the newest Swiss Navy herbals also will be available.
