CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Fresh off of a successful show, AVN has announced that the Luxury Boutique—which was a hit during its debut this week at the AVN Novelty Expo in Las Vegas—will return to the show in January.
The Luxury Boutique, which was sponsored by Je Joue, was a new space on the show floor where manufacturers who specialize in high-end products offered buyers a new experience when browsing their lines. It marked a new direction for the ANE show and participating manufacturers.
“We got a lot of feedback from the participating manufacturers and many of the buyers that they loved the look of the exhibit space in Luxury Boutique and the lounge area where they could relax and talk more,” said Janet Gibson, COO of AVN Media Network. “With a different space to work with at the Hard Rock Hotel for the January version of AVN Novelty Expo there will be a few changes here and there, but the essence of what made the debut of Luxury Boutique so successful will still be there.”
The Luxury Boutique was successful in providing lingerie and apparel buyers with a visual representation of how pleasure products might look in their stores. It also gave manufacturers a chance to reach out to those buyers, who might not normally think of stocking pleasure products in their stores.
In addition to both spaces, the Luxury Boutique also featured display cases where manufacturers could set up mini displays of their products and lines to offer retailers ideas on how to merchandise their lines.
Companies interested in participating in the Luxury Boutique during the AVN Novelty Expo at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in January can contact Sara Harter, director of sales for AVN, at [email protected] or call (818) 718-5788 ext. 109.
