COSTA MESA, Calif. - High-end novelty manufacturer Luxotiq has entered the market with its lightweight dildo, anal plug and anal beads.
Luxotiq's dildo is made of aircraft-grade aluminum, and the anal plug is crafted of surgical-grade stainless steel; both are polished to a mirror finish and designed with maximum pleasure and ease of use in mind, said Chief Executive Officer Jake Lam.
The anal beads are made of semiprecious stones such as amethyst, aventurine, rose quartz and obsidian.
Lam said Luxotiq's goal is to create products that are elegant, sensual and functional.
"All of our products are packaged using exquisite gift boxes that add to the special experience of using our toys," Lam told AVN Novelty Business. "We launched our business with three products and plan on expanding our product line using exotic materials and adding a line of vibrators."
In the short time since Luxotiq opened in September, Lam said, he has enjoyed making his first contacts in the adult industry.
"One of the greatest rewards so far is meeting open-minded people," he said. "The people that I have met in this industry seem more accepting of other people's lifestyles and ideals."
While the company hasn't attended any trade shows yet, Lam said, "we plan on attending the next Adult Novelty Expo and possibly Erotica L.A. in 2008."
