MELBOURNE - The Live08 expo made its premiere Thursday at the newly developed Grand Pavilion at the Royal Showgrounds in Melbourne.
The three-day expo is billed as a way to put "fun, love and romance back into your relationship this coming Valentine's Day."
The event features live music, burlesque and Latin dance performers, circus performers and a food festival with dishes representing more than 12 countries. Artists confirmed for Live08 include Melbourne's Rogue Traders, CC Martini and Kisstroyer. The event also will include a CircaNICA show (Cirque De Vie) featuring former Cirque du Soleil performers.
"Anyone ages 18-100 are reached through exhibitions such as Live08, Venus Berlin and AEE Las Vegas," said Martin Logan of Sexerciseme.
Daniel Jordan, national sales and marketing manager of Four Seasons, the exclusive condom brand at Live08, said the company was looking forward to being part of the new event.
"We are seeing Live08 as a great opportunity to promote the full range or Four Seasons condoms and lubricant products, a leading Australian brand for over 20 years," he said. "Many of our products are for the sexually adventurous, and this show is a great vehicle for bringing these people to us."
Other novelty exhibitors listed on the expo's website include EAU Zone/Shunga Erotic Art, The Screaming O, and System JO .
