ATLANTA - When Philip Seymour Hoffman's directorial debut Jack Goes Boating is released in theaters, eagle-eye viewers might notice one of Hollywood's newest stars: Liberator Bedroom Adventure Gear.
A bedroom set in the movie features Liberator's Black Label Wedge/Ramp Combo, along with a coordinating set of cuffs and a blindfold.
"We are proud to have been selected to have a prop in the movie," said Louis Friedman, director and CEO of Liberator. "Liberator has such a strong place in popular culture that our products continue to be featured in movies, including Burn After Reading and Meet the Fockers. In Hollywood, Liberator is one of the few products that can truly be considered a brand star."
Liberator shapes and sex furniture transform ordinary beds and bedrooms into creative sex terrains by employing angles, elevations, curves, textures, environments and motion. The Liberator's bestseller, the Ramp, offers support with a deep slope elevation which strategically lifts your lover's hips to an altitude of 12 inches, offering access at critical angles that accentuate sensitivity.
Jack Goes Boating is an adaptation of Bob Glaudini's off-Broadway play of the same name, which opened in March 2007. The film stars Hoffman with John Ortiz and Daphne Rubin-Vega, reprising their Broadway roles. The romantic comedy about a stoner limo driver and his quest for perfection began shooting in New York on Feb. 9.
