Liberator Launches Overseas Operations

ATLANTA – No longer is Liberator Bedroom Adventure Gear confined to American shores. The brand has opened its first retail location outside of its flagship city, Atlanta, with a 1,000-square-foot store in Singapore's tony District 9.

Decorated in a Renaissance-inspired style, replete with Louis XVI furniture and hand-painted Venetian masks, the store comprises three separate moods. The Drawing Room is the shop's main room, hosting Liberator's sex furniture, books, lubricants, and accessories. The Dungeon is home to Liberator's Black Label, a line of "light bondage" gear. And the Chamber replicates an indulgent in-home experience, including a four-poster bed, a closet full of toys, and the full range of Liberator Shapes, all accented by atmospheric erotic music and video.

"We are very excited to present our 100% authentic and USA-made products to Singapore and Asia," says Joshua Maurice, Liberator's vice president. "For the first time, customers in Asia will be able to experience Liberator Bedroom Adventure Gear shapes and other products first-hand, where they can browse and touch the products before purchasing."

The store marks just one facet of the company's pending expansion. It has formed licensing partnerships in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, and agreements are imminent in France, Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
