The Fairvilla adult retail mega-store will be hosting Ladies Night this Thursday from 6-10 p.m. at the Cape Canaveral store in Florida. The semi-annual event has grown in popularity since its inception more than a decade ago; forcing organizers to move the event from their smaller Orlando store to its current Cape Canaveral location to accommodate the number of attendees.
“We have approximately 30 vendors confirmed [this year],” states Fairvilla Director of Marketing, Debra Peterson. “Many have been to Ladies Night promotions in the past and asked to come back.”
This year’s sponsors include adult novelty manufacturers, distributors, and adult film studios such as California Exotic Novelties, Digital Playground, Doc Johnson, East Coast News, Eldorado, Fun Factory, Kama Sutra, Tantus, Vibratex, and Wicked Pictures.
The Ladies Night event was created to increase the store’s visibility to women, giving them an exclusive invitation to come into the store in a non-threatening atmosphere. Fairvilla offers a unique mix of apparel, adult novelties and DVDs, as well as bath and body products. The evening is filled with games, prizes, and deserts, with vendor interaction throughout and a male revue at the end of the evening.
“Ladies Night is not about making big sales the night of the event,” Peterson continues. “Many women walk away with bags of free product rather than making purchases that evening. However, in our experience, they come back almost immediately and begin to spend money in our stores. They also tell their friends about the great time they had, and before you know it, traffic and sales increase dramatically.
Attendance for the event is kept to approximately 500 women, mostly from the Central Florida area. A limited number of VIP tickets have already sold out; however General Admission tickets for $20 are still available at any of the three Fairvilla Megastore locations in Key West, Orlando, and Cape Canaveral.
