LELO Welcomes New Sales and Marketing Manager

SAN JOSE, Calif.-Shaye Saldana has joined LELO, amanufacturer of luxury adult novelties based in Sweden, as its new sales and marketing manager for North and South America.

 

As Saldana told AVN Novelty Business, LELO was looking for a sales and marketing veteran, and his name surfaced.

 

"I was the lucky one to land the interview with LELO and pleased that the company and its management were impressed with my ability to capture an audience and speak publicly about LELO products, while focusing attention on the health and wellness aspects of sex and the enjoyment that LELO products bring to many people. Not to mention their sexy flare and great engineering," he said.

 

Saldana started his career in sales and marketing 12 years ago as a technical recruiter, transitioning into positions that involved the management and marketing of people and companies and later sales management, marketing and technology in real estate.

 

In this new position, Saldana's "vision for the company is to increase the branding in the United States, as it has flourished in Sweden and Europe."

 

Qualifying the trajectory of the company in North and South America, Saldana said that LELO recently was chosen by Apoteket, Sweden's state-owned pharmacy chain, to carry the Iris, Nea, and Luna Bead system.

 

From Canada to Argentina, Saldana ensures he understands LELO's diverse client base by attending trade shows and listening to customers, re-sellers, and distributors alike. Using this input, the LELO design team will continue to refine their user-friendly products.

 

In all, Saldana told ANB, "I am very pleased to be part of the LELO team and fortunate to have an executive team that works closely with me to be able to increase our market share week by week."
