SAN JOSE, Calif.—LELO will be welcomed back to the Cannes Film Festival this month, with a short film by the Swedish designer company set to be projected onto extra-large screens at prime locations across the city for the duration of the event.
This marks LELO’s second visit to Cannes; the brand also showcased their ultra-exclusive Luxe collection at the festival in 2009 to great acclaim. This time around, the entire portfolio will be on display. LELO models will be stationed in prominent areas along the promenades to help introduce festival-goers to the brand’s range, which includes some of the world’s most luxurious personal massagers along with lingerie, nightwear, and massage oils and accessories.
“We’re honored to be given the opportunity to share our brand at the world’s most renowned film festival,” LELO CEO Miroslav Slavic said. “Marilyn Monroe is the inspiration behind this year’s event and we’re going to show that LELO holds the coveted position she sang about, usually reserved for diamonds—as a girl’s best friend.”
LELO’s latest foray into the intimate lifestyle industry’s creative side follows hot on the heels of their success at Milan Design Week—during which the brand hosted the event’s hottest closing party, attended by many of the top names in design and fashion.
