STOCKHOLM, Sweden - In an effort to continue the company's growth and expansion into new markets, LELO has created a new global CEO position and tapped Kaja Wannberg to fill the post.
Sophia Nystrand, communications and public relations manager for LELO, said the CEO position was specifically created to help increase the company's worldwide presence.
Wannberg joins LELO after previously working as a CFO in various industries, including banking and finance, hotel and tourism, and training and information technology.
"I look forward to bringing LELO, already a success story, to the next level of success," Wannberg said. "I'm also attracted by being a part of advocating something that really contributes to good health, happiness and pleasure for people."
Wannberg has a degree in law and an MBA.
"Kaja will strengthen our team with her impressive broad experience," said Eric Kalén, co-founder and design manager at LELO. "Her background in leadership, human resource development and process management will be a great asset as we continue our work to be at the forefront of our industry."
