STOCKHOLM, Sweden—LELOi AB, the Swedish company behind the LELO and PicoBong brands of personal massagers, confirms that it is aware of allegations made by Standard Innovation Corporation (SIC), the makers of We-Vibe, in the U.S. International Trade Commission and in federal court, in the Southern District of Texas.
SIC is requesting that the International Trade Commission institute an investigation hoping to prevent the importation of certain kinesiotherapy devices, which has been extended to include the importation of LELO’s Tiani Couples' Massager and Mahana Duo Massager. SIC is also seeking unspecified damages in the federal court proceeding alleging patent infringement.
LELOi AB will vigorously defend itself against these allegations and believes that it does not infringe any valid patent claim of SIC. LELOi AB will respond to this aggressive action by SIC and will protect its right and the rights of its valued retailers to market LELO’s high-quality, innovative products to customers in the United States.
