STOCKHOLM, Sweden—LELO has announced that the design patent application for the Tiani Couples’ Massager has been examined and allowed for issuance by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
All inquiries into the merits of the application are now closed, and should be followed by the assignment of a U.S. design patent number and publication.
The original Tiani broke all LELO sales records when launched in October 2011, and in March 2012 it gained further international acclaim by winning the prestigious Red Dot Award for product design. To celebrate this achievement, Tiani 2 was launched in June with significant upgrades in wireless range and vibration strength, alongside a new full-feeling attachment.
U.S. Sales and Marketing Director Donna Faro said, “We are delighted the award-winning design of Tiani is set to be protected by the USPTO. Couples worldwide continue to enjoy the shared pleasures of the Tiani product.”
