COPENHAGEN - Former porn star Katja K has filed for bankruptcy following the failure of her lingerie boutique in Denmark.
Brandbart, which the actress founded three years ago in Denmark to produce her lingerie designs, turned a profit for the first time last summer. But her Katja K Studio boutique closed its doors in the fall due to a decline in sales.
Katja K used her real name, Sussi la Cour Jakobsen, for her business ventures. She sold her lingerie through select retailers and at her boutique.
Copenhagen newspapers are reporting that Jakobsen will enter Roskilde University to pursue her master's degree.
