LOS ANGELES - As a way to give back to those who serve people in need, condom-case manufacturer Just in Case will give condom compacts to charities through its "Support a Cause" promotion.
The company has invited the public to nominate local charity organizations by sending e-mail to [email protected] and describing each organization's work. Nominees must be registered nonprofit organizations that focus on serving women.
Nominations must include the organization's name, address, phone number, name of the group's head and reason for nomination.
Winners will receive 100 Just in Case condom compacts. Two organizations from each state will be chosen on Feb. 1.
"That's a total of 10,000 compacts that we're giving away to these fantastic groups," said Just in Case co-founder Rachel Sudul. "We would like to get as many nominations as possible from all areas of the country."
Sudul said the nominees will be listed on the "Support a Cause" page of the Just in Case website.
