Judge Blocks 'Victor's Little Secret' as Store Name

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. - A federal judge ruled that an adult novelty and lingerie shop in central Kentucky cannot use the names "Victor's Secret" and "Victor's Little Secret" because they violate the trademark of Victoria's Secret.

U.S. District Judge Charles Simpson said the names violate the Ohio-based lingerie manufacturer's trademark under the Federal Trademark Dilution Act.

"The use of the remarkably similar 'Victor's Secret' or 'Victor's Little Secret' in connection with the sale of intimate lingerie along with sex toys and adult videos tarnishes the reputation of the Victoria's Secret mark," he wrote in his ruling.

Victor and Cathy Moseley's case had been bouncing around the legal system since the shop opened 10 years ago.
