Joel Tucker Interviewed by Yale Student

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Stockroom.com founder and owner Joel Tucker was interviewed by a student on the Sex Week at Yale committee.

According to its website, Sex Week is an interdisciplinary sex-education program designed to pique students' interest through creative, interactive programming.

In the interview, Tucker addresses topics such as the definitions of terms such as "BDSM" and "kink," how they are relevant to college students and how a large percentage of the "underground population" consists of highly intelligent and educated people.

In the interview, Tucker also recommends Stockroom.com as a resource for those who are interested in getting involved in kink.

"The internet is a great resource," Tucker explained. "You could start on my site, which is basically an encyclopedia of BDSM. I got into making leather gear in my living room when I was in college because I couldn't afford bondage gear at the time. I thought, ‘There should be a company where a college student with $50 could go and get some basics.'"

Strockroom.com will provide products and gear to be worn by Yale students in an upcoming fashion show to promote AIDS awareness.
