Jimmyjane Gets Increased Recognition in Mainstream Media

SAN FRANCISCO—Due to its recent partnership with Hysteria, a new film from Sony Pictures Classics, as well as the ever-growing popularity of its Form vibrator line, Jimmyjane has recently garnered significant mainstream exposure, from inclusion in red carpet gift bags to appearances on Bravo TV.

Jimmyjane was the star of a lengthy feature article in the Atlantic on May 14. The article by Andy Isaacson was titled “Can a Better Vibrator Inspire an Age of Great American Sex,” and explored how Jimmyjane and its founder, Ethan Imboden, are changing the conversation around vibrators and sex. This piece was followed by mentions in feature articles in July’s Los Angeles magazine and Allure—both included passages that focused on Ethan Imboden and Jimmyjane.

With last month’s release of Hysteria from Sony Pictures Classics, Jimmyjane has popped up in a variety of entertainment magazines. Page Six, Interview Magazine, In Touch, and WWD all discuss Jimmyjane as the film’s official partner, as well as remark on the surprise vibrator in the guests’ gift bags.

Jimmyjane also appears on the small screen, popping up on Bravo’s new reality series, Miss Advised. The first episode, which aired on June 18, shows Emily Morse of Sex With Emily at the launch party for her new book, Hot Sex. The San Francisco party included Jimmyjane products and photo booth for guests. And Jimmyjane received other TV coverage as Bethenny Frankel explored a range of vibrators in her new daytime talk show.
