BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - LFP has hired clothing-industry veteran Jason Haughey as vice president of Hustler Apparel.
Haughey's experience in the apparel industry includes eight years as senior buyer for No Fear.
"When I got hired [at No Fear], they had one store," Haughey told AVN Novelty Business. "By the time I left, there were 42 stores and we were carrying over 100 brands, Hustler being one of them. It's not often a mainstream retail store will carry the Hustler brand in a mall."
Hustler Apparel President Eric Gullet said Haughey's merchandising expertise is exactly what the brand needs.
"Jason has a keen eye for current trends and developments, and will be a huge asset to the progression of the brand," he said. "We must continually develop cutting-edge product in order to meet the already-high expectations of the next generation of Hustler."
Larry Flynt said he has high hopes for the future of his apparel division under Haughey's direction.
"It was when we opened our own Hustler Hollywood retail store in 1998 that we recognized the demand of our name on shirts, hats, bags, et cetera," Flynt said. "Today, we sell our apparel worldwide. Having Jason on board will take Hustler Apparel to the next level."
Haughey said he is excited about working for a company he admires.
