HANOVER, Germany - German novelty manufacturer JOYDIVISION has collaborated with the Alexander Institute for a special promotion, coupling JOYDIVISION's Love Swing with a soon-to-be-released Alexander DVD 69 Advanced Sexual Positions for Lovers-Vol. 2.
The Love Swing is a device that can be attached to the ceiling and is available in Classic and Classic XL models - which hold 100 kilograms (approximately 220 pounds) and 250 kilograms (approximately 551 pounds), respectively - as well as the Multi Vario (for two partners) and a De Luxe model, offering "exceptional comfort." JOYDIVISION Chief Executive Officer Oliver Redschlag explained that the company constantly is on the lookout to see how it can add more value to its products.
"It is always a special requirement of ours to offer the consumer added value," he stated. "The small erotic highlights that make our products, and [our customers' love lives] more exciting, are consequently implemented by us. Alexander movies are well known for high-quality sexual education. We met in Las Vegas this year in January and decided to make a cooperation by adding their films to our Love Swing."
The Germany-based novelty manufacturer and America-based producer of sex-education DVDs found initial success with a similar promotion in the European market pairing the Love Swing with Alexander Institute's original film What Women Love as a "gift with" purchase. The 69 Advanced Positions for Lovers DVD, which is scheduled to be released in August, is a slightly shorter and softer version of the company's 101 Advanced Sexual Positions, according to Meir Sharony, president of the Alexander Institute.
"This DVD includes scenes with real couples using the JOYDIVISION Love Swing," he explained. "Alexander produces the most critically acclaimed sexuality video series for couples and singles who want to enhance their sex lives. We release new DVDs in our sex-education line a few times a year that feature attractive, real-life couples in real situations. For over 10 years, world-renowned sex therapists, educators, and best-selling authors have developed this most erotic and informative series."
Sharony went on to share with AVN Novelty Business, "In the fall our marketing cooperation will be expanded to other JOYDIVISION products, in the form of a coupon and sticker, which allow buyers of those products to receive one of our regular DVDs for free when they redeem their coupon either by mail or online."
69 Advanced Sexual Positions for Lovers-Vol. 2 DVD/Love Swing package will be available to the North American market with a limited availability of 5,000 units.
