Italian Researchers: The G-Spot Exists

L'AQUILA, Italy - According to a report in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, Italian scientists claim that the mysterious G-spot can be located with ultrasound.

While not every woman has a G-spot, researchers said, a simple test may reveal whether a woman has one.

The study involved 20 women and was conducted by Dr. Emmanuele Jannini from the University of L'Aquila.

Jannini took ultrasounds of the women, 11 of whom did not have vaginal orgasms and nine of whom did. The tissue between the vagina and urethra was noticeably thicker in the women who had had vaginal orgasms.

"For the first time, it is possible to determine, by a simple, rapid and inexpensive method, if a woman has got a G-spot or not," Jannini said.

Ultrasound was used to measure the size and shape of the tissue beyond the front wall of the vagina.
