LAS VEGAS—Adult store retailers and distributors made their way to Las Vegas this past week for the biannual International Lingerie Show, which ended earlier today. The fall show typically highlights lingerie for the winter holidays and Valentine’s Day, and this year was no exception. But as in shows past, pleasure product manufacturers and adult distributors continue to take up a significant chunk for the exhibit space.
By Monday morning all the booths were up and open for business in two of the three rooms that ILS typically fills. (The space that was filled with costume companies for the Halloween-related show in April was not in use.) Some of the biggest spaces were occupied by Baci Lingerie, Coquette, Dreamgirl, Fantasy Lingerie, Forplay, Magic Silk, Rene Rofé and Shirley of Hollywood, who all showcased multiple collections.
On the pleasure product side, the distributors had the largest areas, with many product reps buzzing around to answer questions about their new offerings at East Coast News, Eldorado, Entrenue, Nalpac and Williams Trading. Veteran toy manufacturers were on the scene, including OhMiBod, Evolved Novelties (highlighting Adam & Eve Love Candy by Kendra), Vibratex, Ovo and Adult Brand Concepts, as well as some newcovers (see photo galleries below).
Seemingly more dominant than toy companies were lubricant manufacturers, among them Wet, System Jo, Wicked Sensual Care, Nature Labs, Uberlube and Slyd.
The main event at ILS, as usual, was the Monday night fashion show, where buyers enjoyed free food, free drinks, and free products tossed from the stage. And midway through the night, StorErotica editor Kristofer Kay hit the stage to announce the winners of the magazine’s soft goods awards. The following companies were honored:
