Inventor Set to Flash a Phallic USB Drive

DURANGO, Colo. - Creative Business Solutions is preparing to release its Teeny Weeny Drive, a phallic USB memory stick.

Julie Schneider, owner of Creative Business Solutions and inventor of the Teeny Weeny Drive, said the 1 GB flash drive is encased in durable rubber and looks and feels like the real thing.

"It started out as just a phallic-shaped flash drive," she said. "But it's really become something much more high-tech while still remaining incredibly funny. It's the perfect gift for bachelorette or ‘hen' parties, an executive's retirement party, [or] stocking stuffers for geeks or the person who has everything."

Schneider told AVN Novelty Business the Teeny Weeny Drive lights up when plugged into a USB port, letting the user know it's in use.

"The Teeny Weeny Drive actually blushes, letting you know it's turned on," she said. "This product is one-of-a-kind, so before I did anything else, I patented and trademarked it in 36 countries. If anyone makes a product like it, they're not going to be able to sell it in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia or just about anywhere."

Creative Business Solutions is scheduled to begin shipping the Teeny Weeny Drive on May 21.

Schneider told ANB final improvements to the flash drive were worth the wait.

"The quality of the final product that's going to be in stores surpasses SanDisk and is, frankly, a lot more fun," she said. "SanDisk flash drives retail for up to $21, and mine are only $20, so my price is in line. If I can get a distributor interested in it, I can work out special pricing, as well. It takes volume orders to offer better wholesale pricing, due to the cost of the memory itself being cheaper when purchased in bulk."
