SEATTLE - Innervibe, a company that creates products designed for a "whole body experience," has earned the 2009 American Package Design Award from trade magazine Graphic Design USA.
"It really sort of surprised us," said Jesse Adams, vice president of marketing and new product development for Innervibe.
Adams said the award reaffirms the company's decision to differentiate its packaging from other companies. Rather than use bright, bold colors, Innervibe products are encased in boxes and foil packs that feature muted pastels and elegant lettering.
"We wanted something that was more engaging to women and couples," Adam said. "We want our customers to feel good from the moment they see our products."
Innervibe produces the Girl's Night In, Date Night In, and Weekend Bliss kits, which contain products such as the all-natural Sensual Salt Soak, Shea Soy Massage Candles, and Liquid Charms Warming Lubricant.
