LAS VEGAS — The International Lingerie Show kicked off Monday at the Rio Hotel with buyers traveling from booth to booth looking for the next hot product and some major deals. But the highlight of opening day was the traditional lingerie and costume runway show.
Distributors such as Eldorado and Entrenue staffed booths at the show, showing off a wide range of products from a number of companies, while manufacturers including HOTT Products, For Your Nymphomation and Sliquid also were in attendance.
The main focus, however, is on suppliers and manufacturers of lingerie items and Halloween costumes. During the fashion show, companies like Rubie's, Shirley of Hollywood, and Ellie Shoes displayed items that can not only be worn in the bedroom, but also during a night on the town.
Traditional costumes such as the naughty school girl, a sexy witch or the bad cop were a hit, but movie- and superhero-themed costumes also drew plenty of attention. Also heavily showcased were plus-size outfits and costumes for men.
