BATH, England - Online adult-novelty retailer LoveHoney has re-released the Hello Kitty Shoulder Massager.
Bonny Hall, LoveHoney's head buyer, said the vibrator has become an "urban myth" over the past 10 years.
"The Hello Kitty vibrator was originally released 10 years ago as a shoulder massager, but women soon found another use for it," she said. "The vibrators were withdrawn from sale several years ago and became something of an urban myth and very sought-after. We've managed to track them down, so Kitty's U.K. fans can now have the pleasure of adding the ultimate girlie accessory to their Hello Kitty collections."
The vibrator, which is available in pink, lilac, red or black, features Hello Kitty sitting on top of a rocket-style vibe.

LoveHoney also has released a smaller Hello Kitty Keychain Massager, which Marketing Representative Ruth Wilkinson described as "the perfect presents for grown-up Hello Kitty fans."
"The Hello Kitty Keychain Massager is a pocket-sized, go-anywhere toy," she said. "It features Kitty in an adorable horse ‘kirgurumi' full head and body costume."
The keychain massager, which is available in six colors, has seven sensual-massage nodules on its base, and the ears and nose vibrate.
"With two different designs and a range of colors to choose from, Hello Kitty vibrators provide [perfect] single-speed vibrating pleasure in completely irresistible packaging," Wilkinson said.
Wilkinson told ANB that LoveHoney will ship the Hello Kitty vibes to customers in the United States, but they also can be ordered from JList.com.
