Guccione Collection Launches Retail Website

ENGLEWOOD, N.J.—Entrepreneur Jeremy Frommer and producer Rick Schwartz of the Guccione Collection have collaborated with award-winning photographer Indrani and celebrity designer GK Reid to create Guccione Girls, a retail website that offers a line of lingerie and accessories inspired by Penthouse founder Bob Guccione.

The images on the Guccione Girls website reflect Guccione's original ideal of the female form as illustrated in photos from his archives. Vice magazine joined forces with the Guccione Girls brand to produce a launch video for the site including behind the scenes footage of the first Guccione Girls photoshoot and interviews with Frommer, Rick Schwartz, Indrani and several of the Guccione Girls themselves.

"These images from the '50s and '60s and '70s are so sexy in an innocent kind of way," Indrani said. "There is this sort of innocence being lost and I thought taking that world and finding a modern way to bring us full circle to a place where sexuality can be celebrated and finding whats really beautiful and sexy in a real woman."

Added Frommer, "Bob Guccione felt that all women were beautiful, he didn't feel that there was any one particular look that was better than another. He felt that you could find beautiful women everywhere and he did."

The Guccione Girls launch campaign features a 1950s pin-up girl theme. Designer Reid has created iconic looks for celebrities including Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Lindsay Lohan, David Bowie and Beyonce.
