Golden Gals Gone Wild Art Exhibit

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Art curator Lenora Claire has announced the opening of her Golden Gals Gone Wild art exhibit at the World of Wonder storefront gallery in Hollywood. Claire came up with the concept after purchasing an infamous nude oil painting by Chris Zimmerman of 'Golden Girls' actress Bea Arthur, who portrayed the character of Dorothy on the TV show.

"After turning down dozens of offers from friends, artists, and celebrities who all wanted a piece of Bea," explained Claire. "It became clear that it was time to share her liver-spotted bazooms with the world. After all, who better than the Golden Girls to put the 'cheesecake' back into cheesecake?"

With several successful art shows under her belt, Claire enlisted the help of some of her "fancy friends" by getting them to contribute their own erotic depictions of the Golden Girls. Some of the contributing artists include: Ed MironiukGlen Hanson , Jason Mecier , Angus Oblong, My Secret Life in Glass, Chris Zimmerman, Jackie Beat , Gidget Gein , Michael Alig, Austin Young , Mad Puppeteer, and Garilyn Brune among others with even more to be announced.

Claire shared her excitement with AVN Novelty Business magazine when she stated, "It's an honor to work with these talented artists who will surely impress the jaded Los Angeles art community that claims to have seen it all. After an entire year of keeping Bea all to myself I feel the world is finally ready for me to unleash her boobies as well as the many other erotic elderly delights I've put together."

The Golden Gals Gone Wild art exhibit, which will run for four weeks, will be premiering with a special opening night reception at 8 p.m. Saturday August 11 at the World of Wonder Art Gallery. The opening night festivities are scheduled to be broadcast live on the internet at www.ringmybell.tv .

The World of Wonder gallery space is located at 6650 Hollywood Blvd. [at the corner of Cherokee Avenue]. Admission is $5 at the door.
