LA JOLLA, Calif. — In a region known for famous and talented plastic surgeons, Dr. Alexander A. Krakovsky has attained an elevated level of achievement in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery among a select group of surgeons.

"Smoking affects the healing process in a negative way by diminishing the blood supply to the penis. Also, the patient has to keep the surgical field clean and dry and can have no sexual activities for six to eight weeks after surgery, because an incision on the penis is very fragile and can be easily opened up during sex."
Penile enhancement surgeries are performed with dermal fat grafts (DFGs) and AlloDerm to achieve successful lengthening, girth enhancement and glanular enhancement.
