OKLAHOMA CITY - A former Creek County District Judge was disbarred on Tuesday, following a conviction of indecent exposure for using a sexual device during trials.
Former Judge Donald Thompson was disbarred by the Oklahoma Supreme Court for conduct it calls an affront to the judiciary and the legal profession and socially unacceptable.
Thompson was accused of using a "penis pump" while presiding over trials and convicted in June 2006 on four counts of indecent exposure. After serving 20 months of a four-year prison term and committing to register as a sex offender, he was released in April.
Thompson's disbarment is effective from December 4, 2006, which is the date the Supreme Court suspended him from the bar association.
