Fleshlight Set to Invade SXSW

AUSTIN, Tex.—Fleshlight, the world’s number one selling male sex toy company, is set to invade the streets of Austin at this year’s SXSW Festival.

Lisa Ann and Tori Black, two of the Fleshlight girls, will be walking the streets of downtown Austin during the afternoons and will be taking photos with the thousands of SXSW attendees. The goal is to get the fans to take photos with the Fleshlight mascot and tweet them live on the spot.

Fleshlight also will be set up in front of The Jackalope Bar on 6th Street in downtown Austin (404 East 6th Street), giving away chances to win exclusive prizes.

“As the largest music festival in the country, we thought it would be a great social media opportunity to interact with attendees at street level,” said Orlando Rios, Fleshlight’s social media director. “We think attendees will get a kick out of the funny, giant, walking Fleshlight mascot—not to mention Lisa Ann and Tori Black in person.”

SXSW's original goal was to create an event that would act as a tool for creative people and the companies they work with to develop their careers, to bring together people from a wide area to meet and share ideas. That continues to be the goal today whether it is music, film or the internet.
