SAN FRANCISCO - The seventh annual San Francisco Fetish Ball will be held March 6-8 at various locations.
The event brings together members of the fetish and kink communities, such as Stockroom, Madame S, Fetish Movies, Social Kink, Marquis, Adult DVD Empire, XFANZ, Stormy and Syren Fetish Fashions.
"The San Francisco Fetish Ball is the premier fetish event in the States," said Paige White of Madame S. "It brings together the general public, experienced fetishists and adult industry performers for a weekend not to be forgotten."
The festivities kick off March 6 at DNA Lounge with a gallery show featuring eight artists who have never been showcased together in one room. Each artist has contributed one piece of fetish art to be auctioned at the event. Proceeds will benefit the Free Speech Coalition. DJ Trevor Simpson of Energy 92.7 will spin music for the opening-night event.
On March 7, Club Enslaved, held at Club Whisper, will host live performances by Midori and Kumimonster, JD of the Two Knotty Boys, James Mogul, Madison Young, Luke Degre, and DJ Addison will spin hard house and electronica.
The main event, to be held March 8 at the San Francisco Regency Ball Room, will have a "Metropolis" theme based on Fritz Lang's 1927 silent film. The evening will feature fashion shows by BodyCult (Germany), Anticeptic Fashions (Los Angeles), Vex Clothing (Chicago), Madame S Fetish Boutique (San Francisco) and Syren Latex Fashions. Live performances include Pretty Purvey from London, stilt walkers, Surreal Entertainment dancers and world-renowned DJ Dimitris Mykonos. Sister Roma of "The Tim and Roma Show" is scheduled to be the master of ceremonies.
"Being involved with an event where people are encouraged to wear their fetish on their sleeve makes me tingle with excitement," Roma told AVN Novelty Business. "The Fetish Ball embraces everyone in an environment where we not only recognize and respect our diversity, we get off on it!"
"I get goosebumps just thinking about the outstanding talent we have lined up for this year," White said. "Never before has this caliber of artists, designers and performers come together for such an event. The previous six years were just a warm-up for what we have in store for you."
Tickets for each event and special weekend passes are available at the Fetish Ball website. Discounted general admission and VIP early-bird pricing will be available until Feb. 15.
