STOCKHOLM, Sweden – A professional hockey player was pelted with sex toys last night when he hit the ice at a rival team's arena. Hoping to crack Leksand player Jan Huokko's concentration, fans of the opposing AIK club tossed dozens of dildos on the ice. In the stands, they brandished a giant inflatable penis and displayed a massive banner emblazoned with the slogan "Bend over, bitch!"
Huokko gave scoring a new meaning last June when a sexy encounter he recorded on his cell phone was posted online after the phone was stolen. At the time, he told reporters, "It was a private thing between me and my girl. That's what people do when it comes to sex."
But AIK fans made the matter public Tuesday evening with their unusual display of team spirit. The game's start was delayed while a crew cleared the ice of tossed toys, and crude chants continued throughout the game. Though AIK officials had heard rumors about the planned dildo demonstration, they declined to address the matter before the game, thinking it would only further incense the match's spectators.
After the match, Huokko told Sweden's The Local, "For me it was just a regular hockey game. It was no problem." But perhaps the lewd display affected him more than he let on: his team Leksand lost by a score of 3-2.
