What is your primary line of business?

Consumer products manufacturing and distribution. Product lines include adult and humorous greeting cards, calendars, magnets, posters and other paper goods.

 

How much, if at all, do you utilize the Internet for your business?

The Internet is plays a big role in our business. We utilize the Internet every day for a multitude of tasks to help us succeed and grow including product development research, finding sales prospects and recruitment of artists.

What are the two biggest challenges when it comes to working in the adult novelty business?

One challenge we face is helping adult novelty retailers understand the huge value in adult greeting cards for all occasions and how this product consistently creates an ongoing source of revenue. Another challenge is finding manufacturing partners that are comfortable with our content.

 

What are two of the most rewarding aspects about working in this industry?

It is very rewarding to see how successful retailers can be with our products. It's also great to see how fast our product lines grow. Our products are taboo but everyone wants them! They offend everybody but offend nobody at the same time. They're fun and humorous. The enjoyment people get out of them is definitely gratifying.

 

Tell us about a few hot, new products your company plans to introduce within the next few months?

We will be introducing a line of Playgirl adult greeting cards next year and plan on it being a major seller for all of our adult novelty retailers because of the brand recognition and huge crossover appeal to both male and female audiences. Our 2009 BIG Daddy calendar line will also be exciting. It will include several more titles this coming year due to its popularity and strong sales. We will publish the Playgirl calendar for a second consecutive year as well as a calendar featuring the men of Raging Stallion Studios. Both were best sellers this year. The larger selection in the calendar line will also give retailers even more great calendars to choose from so they can offer something for all their customers.
