eXtreme Restraints, an adult online retailer specializing in BDSM and fetish gear, has set a record for its highest number of new products released within a one-month period. XR Affiliate Representative James Medina told ANB the company recently secured new deals with some major manufacturers.
"I can't give any details of the deal we made or name the manufacturers, but it allowed us to break our own record for the number of products we released," stated Medina. "We released 57 items in March alone."
When asked what the top-selling product was, Medina said the problem with picking a top seller is that it often is a promotional, low-priced item that is used as an upsell.
"It says less about your company than the fact that the categories of massive dildos, butt-plugs, or specialty gags sell nearly as many—or more—products than our first-time-buyer promotion," Medina explained. "I'd say that the soul of our company isn't in the single-biggest seller, but [instead] in the many different categories that do so well."
Medina also said eXtreme Restraints is happy to have broken its own record for number of products released, and the company currently is working on new deals for the rest of the year.
