LOS ANGELES – Exquisite Restraint, crafters of custom corsets, has introduced five limited edition styles to its catalog. Each of the corsets is made to order-and only five of each style will be sold. A signed and numbered label inside each garment will prove its almost distinctive status.
The designs include the Burning Inside overbust corset, a flame-printed flatterer accented with black velvet laces, and the Love Cats, a flirty pink underbust dotted with a cartoon kitty. The Sage and Flowers beaded overbust, which blends sage-colored satin, floral prints, and burlesque-style beading, is a romantic throwback, while the Red Beaded Skulls is an in-your-face mix of red silks, skulls and roses prints, and beading scattered across the hips. The final style is the Hanging Gardens underbust, a striking, sophisticated mix of chartreuse, fuchsia, and cherry-blossom-print material.
Exquisite Restraint corsets feature steel boning and a front opening that allows wearers to slip in and out of the corsets without unlacing it each time. All corsets are constructed by hand, one at a time.
