Eldorado's Newest 30-Year Veteran

BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Eldorado Sales Representative Jeff Waterstreet, who started out packing orders in the warehouse for $2.75 per hour, recently passed the 30-year mark at the company. Waterstreet joins an intimate group of employees who've been with the company for over thirty years including Wanda Garland, Dennis Jones.

When Waterstreet started in August 1977, Eldorado operated as a smoking-accessory distributor and was a "different, free-spirited company," he told AVN Novelty Business. He said he negotiated a 27 percent raise within his first week on the job while at a mountain campfire party the company held in Grant, Colo.

"I got along so well with the owner, he felt that $2.75 an hour just wasn't enough for my potential!" he said.

Three years later, Waterstreet took a sales position with the company, helping it transition and grow into one of the market's largest distributors of adult-novelty products.

"It's hard to believe that Jeff has been with us for 30 years," said Eldorado owner and CEO Larry Garland. "He has seen us change industries [and] customer bases, and has grown into our top salesman after starting in the ranks of the warehouse."

"Jeff has an incredible knack for keeping himself amused, as well as everyone around him. Over the course of the years, he has built such a great rapport with his customers that many of them will just give him a budget and have him pick inventory. You rock, Jeff!"

Even as a 30-year veteran, Waterstreet is still excited about working for the company.

"I am still not sure what the future will hold for me here with Eldorado, but I am sure looking forward to the ride!" he said.
