LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Unlike many who visit the gambling capital, Eldorado Trading Company walked away from Las Vegas a winner. At August's Storerotica Awards, the Colorado-based firm was named Distributor of the Year. The prizes, awarded based on a poll of retailers, were announced during a ceremony at Mandalay Bay.
Eldorado founder Larry Garland was thrilled to receive the nod. "It was a huge honor to receive the majority of the votes in our award category and earn the distinction of Distributor of the Year," he says.
In addition to taking home the trophy, the distributor exhibited at the expo for intimate apparel and novelty retailers, and Garland moderated a panel titled "Diversify or Die." The two-day show proved to be a fantastic opportunity for Garland to meet the very retailers who'd voted Eldorado into the top spot. "We are certainly grateful for our valued customers and their trust in our company, which can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of our staff," he says.
