Born in Scotland and a resident of California until her 30s, Heart had an epiphany in 2000 and chose to sell her home and start traveling, and she hasn't stopped since then. Heart is also a student of shamanism and has been since the mid-’80s.
Heart is the author of six books, including the award-winning My Sweet Wild Dance. Her seventh book, The Ultimate Guide to Orgasm for Women, will be published by Cleis Press in August.
