It’s about education and community—two founding principles at EdenFantasys.com. To commemorate this day, Eden Fantasys has launched a new weeklong project.
The World AIDS Day Project is comprised of a variety of new articles and essays—both personal and academic—on Eden Fantasys’ sex magazine SexIs as well as on EF’s blog, Eden Café. This week of dedicated articles and essays begins Nov. 30 and runs through Dec. 4.
Some contributing authors and subjects are Dr. Dick on the dual inalienability of human rights and sexual rights—the two are one and the same; Luxury Holmes (Judy) with a personal reflection on an old friend lost to AIDS; Dr. Elizabeth Boskey, Ph.D., on how the advent of HIV/AIDS shaped her thinking and led her to a career of innovation and education; G.L. Morrison on the anatomy of AIDS activism over the years; Kal Cobalt on growing up in a small town and taking the early initiative in the fight against AIDS—and how this upbringing shaped her sexual persona; Mandy Van Deven on the perception and fight against AIDS in India; and Sarah Sloane on her own personal timeline and relationship with AIDS.
