MARKHAM, Ontario - Novelty manufacturer Exciting Products has released its Eat Me Delicious Cone, a sample pack combining all six flavors of the company's best-selling Wickedly Sensual Edible Heating Massage Potion.
The Eat Me Delicious Cone features the Pop My Bubble Gum, Suck My Candy, Melt My Chocolate, Spank My Mango, Kiss My Raspberries and Squeeze My Tangerine flavors. Exciting Products will unveil the cone at its booth (No. 600) at the International Lingerie Show in Las Vegas, Nev., from Oct. 1-3.
"Since the launch in January 2007, the heating massage potions have taken the lead in the market of edible heating massage products," said Sales and Marketing Manager Elizabeth Archer. "With a deliberately luscious taste in six sinfully delicious flavors, Exciting Products has expanded on an already popular product by introducing the cone."
Archer said feedback from customers and retailers played an integral part in the development of the Eat Me Delicious Cone.
"Feedback was obtained by staying in close communication with retailers that carry Wickedly Sensual products," she said. "The staff took what the customers commented on and informed our marketing department. The feedback was [that] they loved the packaging of the edible, but without a sample test-taster in the store, customers were unsure which flavor to buy and 4 ounces was quite a commitment to make."
When formulating its massage potions, Exciting Products didn't want to just release another edible into the market, Archer said.
"The development of the flavors and the names was a very detailed process," she said. "We wanted to remain distinctive and unique. After many hours of brainstorming, we came out with names that had a sexual connotation to them while still letting the customer know what flavor it was."
