East Coast Condom Culprit Still at Large

NEW CASTLE COUNTY, Delaware - Police are searching for a shoplifter in Delaware who is suspected of having made a terrorist threat after her attempt to steal prophylactics and lubricant were foiled by a store clerk.

According to NBC in Philadelphia, an employee of Happy Harry's - a Walgreen's-owned drug store - was able to retrieve the majority of items a petite woman was attempting to steal last week. However, the employee did not report the incident until approximately an hour later after receiving a phone call from a woman threatening to shoot her.

The employee told police she believed the call to be made by the same woman who attempted to steal Trojan brand condoms and KY Jelly earlier in the evening. Police were also informed that the suspect assaulted the employee with a shopping cart during the incident.

DelewareOnline.com reported on Friday that the suspect was described as a petite woman, standing at a mere 4-feet-11 and weighing approximately 95 lbs.

Anyone with information are encouraged to contact Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.
