HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - After a successful Valentine's Day push, the Dust Your Sweetie feather duster has become the flagship item of the Flirt line from Sportsheets. The demand was such that the Dust Your Sweetie had been backordered.
Todd Carter, director of sales and marketing, said the edible body powder feather duster is not in stock and Sportsheets is ready to ship all orders.
"It's been rough not having the supply we needed to ship and having to back order this product, while the rest of the Flirt product line was in full shipping mode," he said. "Now that the warehouse is full again, we can fill the back orders and start servicing the new orders that are flooding in."
The Flirt by Sportsheets line also includes the Plume de Seduction, Slapper Tickler Bracelet, Cuff Love and Soft Blindfold, with the Dust Your Sweetie as the lines new centerpiece. The newest offerings perfectly complement any lingerie ensemble and boost stores' sales in the novelty and lingerie categories, Carter said.
"Lingerie seems to be a perfect fit for our newest products, and the stores merchandising them with the lingerie have reported increased sales of the Flirt products," he said. "It's a promising trend that we'll keep following with anticipation."
