PARIS - Dreamgirl International unveiled its 2008/2009 collection of lingerie, dance wear, club wear and packaged lingerie last week at its European sales meeting.
CEO Christopher Scharff said the line opened to overwhelming buyer response in Europe.
"We have more than doubled the size of the line in one year because of the enthusiastic reception we have received from buyers across the continent who are looking for the latest and most innovative fabrications used by Dreamgirl's team of designers," he said. "Our new 2008/2009 collection catalog is approximately 300 pages and features a wide array of exciting and new expanded product offerings."
The collection includes an expanded bridal lingerie selection called ‘Nuptials'; new packaged lingerie for women, men, couples and brides; it's ‘Blue Diamond' men's intimates and intimate costumes matching women's styles; it's ‘Black Diamond' packaged hosiery; corsets; club and dancewear; and an expanded array of plus-size lingerie.
In the past four years, Dreamgirl has increased its sales tenfold, and the company's revenue growth topped 40 percent for its 2007 financial year.
"Our organization continues to execute its business plan across all product categories and in all markets," Scharff said. "I am extremely proud of our management, employees, sales representatives, distributors and vendor partners for their dedication and hard work in pursuit of our goals and vision. We are looking forward to an exciting 2008!"
