SAN FRANCISCO - Best-selling author and sex/relationship expert Dr. Sadie Allison will appear on the "Tyra Banks Show" on Tuesday.
Allison said she had the flu when she went to New York in February for the taping, but she still "pulled it off."
"Tyra was stunning in person, and the studio audience was fun and energetic," she said. "The show is called ‘Sexless Marriages,' and I counseled a very sweet couple in love."
On the show, a woman with severe body-image issues described how uncomfortable she was with having sex with her husband.
"She'd recently lost 100 pounds and was very self-conscious of her extra loose skin," Allison said. "She would only have sex if the lights were off, she wore a tank top, and he wasn't allowed to touch her. ... So I prescribed a ‘sex-cercise' for them to do together on camera."
Allison will appear on the KROQ radio show "Loveline" with Dr. Drew Pinsky on May 29. She also is scheduled to attend the Book Expo America on May 30 to sign autographs of her best-selling books.
