LAS VEGAS—Always guaranteed to “spark” interest among AVN Novelty Expo attendees are the gadgets on display at Dr. Clockwork’s booth. The company’s e-stimulation devices, like the Violet Wand, can be seen on its retro website, which calls to mind turn-of-the-century circuses and traveling medicine shows.
But Dr. Clockwork’s “electrical oddities” are best seen in person with live demonstrations. At last year’s show the violet wand starter kits were the biggest hit, and this year the good doctor will showcase his line of medical items as well as exisitng products offered at competitive prices.
“Electrical play is slowly gaining in popularity but is growing rapidly within the BDSM community,” said a company rep. “I expect to see electrical play gain a lot of traction in the mainstream markets in the next couple of years. We are poised and ready to meet the demand as the largest and most trusted name in violet wand toys and accessories.”
